Notice to Mariners – 2-2024
Diving Operations – Deep Water Terminal
Diving operations will be carried out daily from Thursday 15th February 2024 at Stornoway harbour Deep Water Terminal.
Operations will be conducted from 0730 hrs to 1900 hrs, fitting sacrificial anodes along the berthing faces of Deep Water Terminal.
Vessels using the harbour should navigate within the fairways at a speed so as to minimise wake and, as always, remain well clear of the construction site.
Port Control maintains a listening watch on VHF ch 12 at all times.
The work is expected to take several weeks. A further Notice to Mariners will be issued on completion of the works.
