Notice is hereby given that removal and subsea operational work activity in relation to the above aforementioned wrecks within Stornoway Harbour are due to commence week commencing 18th July 2022.

The intended work-scope will be carried out by way of multi-cat work vessels (MV C-Fenna & MCS Anneke) and a pontoon barge (Numitor) on a 3-point mooring system.

Note: mooring spread should extend no more than 70 metres out-with the wreck positions.
The multi-cat work vessels will be moored alongside the pontoon barge during operational work activities.
Diving operations will also be executed and undertaken as part of this work-scope.

Lights, shapes & signals will be exhibited in accordance with the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (ColRegs).


Harbour traffic and other port users are requested to give a wide berth and keep well clear and are requested to pass at slow speed.

Supplementary notices to mariners will be promulgated as and when required with updated or additional information pertaining directly to this development and the safety of navigation.
